Prevent heat Radiation of Facilities
In particular, coaters, with which cupper clad boards are produced in Okuhara Plant, consume large amount of steam heat for curing adhesives and leak no little heat to the outside. Before the summer, we applied total 199m2 of insulators on three of all ten machines. As the result, we could control the room temperature and saved 2,447kwh of electricity per a month and expected the reduction of 11.1 t-CO2 emission per a year. We will apply insulators not only to the remaining machines but also to the machines in other plants both in domestic and overseas and will have large effects.
Receiving the power saving order in the summer of 2011 from Japanese government, we carried out through measures to prevent thermal radiation from facilities with heat source in the factory buildings by applying heat insulator.
