The Mektec Group is focusing on energy conservation activities in the form of the WAIGAYA Project. As one example of such activity, we'd like to introduce the eco activities being advanced by the LongShan Plant of Mektec Manufacturing Corporation (Zhuhai), Ltd.

The LongShan Plant made a decision to adopt low power-consumption, long-lived LED lighting.
By making the switch from conventional lighting to LED lighting, the plant was able to realize a roughly 65% reduction in electrical power consumption.

Moreover, the plant found that the LED lighting did away with the flicker and color unevenness of earlier lighting, enabling a comfortable workplace environment for satisfied employees while contributing to the stabilization of safety and quality.

The Group is considering extending the improvement to its other locations as well.
